Your account dashboard is the main home
The account dashboard is the starting point after you log in. It is where you see the broad parts of your CounselorCart activity: messages, meetings, orders, parent access, counselor tools, and the counselor relationships attached to your account.
Think of this dashboard as the top layer. It gives you a way to open the more specific pages where each relationship or package is managed.
Shared dashboards for counselor-student relationships
Inside the account dashboard, each student and counselor relationship can have its own shared dashboard. That page is for that pair of people. It can include messages, meetings, package requests, async submissions, document links, purchased documents, reviews, counselor tasks, and payment history depending on what has been purchased and what permissions are enabled.
For parents, shared dashboards are also where permitted visibility lives. If a student gives a parent access, the parent can use the shared dashboard to view or help manage the parts of that counselor relationship the student allowed.
Package dashboards are for specific package services
Some services are simple, like a one-hour meeting or a single async review. Packages are different because they often include multiple included requests over time. A package dashboard is the place for that specific package service.
If you buy a package, the package dashboard is where you request included meetings or async reviews. A student can still return to the shared dashboard for the overall counselor relationship, but the package dashboard handles the details of that package's included services.
